Coffee in hotel.

Coffee in hotel.

Not optimistic about K.C. future – I don’t feel I have the energy to cope.

D.E. (David Enthoven) & D.F. (Dik Fraser) arrive… D.E. flying to Bahamas to sort out finances: they’re coming through.

16.45 Unhappy: combination of tiredness; pessimism re/group; health – mainly joints, but also thrombosis; immediately headache! recording a weight I’d rather avoid; diet. Mainly alienation?

Realisation: whenever I’m really annoyed it’s because I expected something & am disappointed.

(After show at the Community Centre, Tucson, AZ) We play well. I thoroughly enjoy the set. Good sound, v. professionally played with a little more. Announcement – the Romark announcement at Change Is.

Off to Ramada with B.B. (Bill Bruford) for chilli & vibe; 24.00. BB still knocked sideways by D.C. (David Cross) going. He had hoped for four lads sticking together, travelling in a truck vibe. Instead he feels kept at arms length. I say I have lost faith in the group: tonight for the first time I thought there might be hope.
